10 HUGE AEW Double Or Nothing 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

8. Darby Allin & Sting vs. Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page

AEW Double Or Nothing 2021 Sting Darby Allin Scorpio Sky Ethan Page
AEW

At Double Or Nothing, Sting will compete before a live audience for the first time since suffering what appeared to be career-ending injuries opposites Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions 2015. Close to six years have passed this he last entered this realm. Revolution's Street Fight was a heavily-produced, pretaped affair, giving the 62-year-old a cinematic shield for any physical shortcomings. He won't have that on Sunday.

That's what makes this so interesting. Sting has been doing this since 1985. He is 24 years older than, Scorpio Sky, the next oldest person in the match at 38. What is this bout even going to look like?

Allin selling for prolonged periods leading to the Sting hot tag, presumably. Beyond that, who knows? Brian Cage's powerbomb shows he can at least take a bump, though it'd be a stretch to expect much more than that.

And the babyfaces should win here. Page and Sky are a growing act who'd benefit from toppling the legend, but beating Sting should mean more and feel bigger than an undercard pay-per-view tag can make it, even at this advanced stage in his career. That rub would be best saved for a potential World Title contender.

Winners: Darby Allin & Sting
