10 HUGE AEW Revolution 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

2. Uhh, Brock Lesnar?!

Brock Lesnar
WWE

This is akin to flipping six coins at once. There’s no telling who Paul Wight’s mystery man is despite the shrunken free agent’s pool, but it has to be someone big. After Cody Rhodes speaking on the importance of not bait-and-switching the audience during Wednesday’s pre-Revolution media call and with the level of trust AEW has built in its audience, anything other than a “hall of fame worthy” name will be a PR disaster. This needs to be huge.

CM Punk and Batista have ruled themselves out of the running, which is exactly what you’d expect somebody in line for a surprise appearance to do. Still, there are valid reasons to rule both men out. Christian is under WWE contract and therefore impossible. Pat McAfee? It’d be a riot, but probably not.

This leaves Brock Lesnar.

There are valid reasons to exclude The Beast as well, and he'd require a massive truckload of money to get hold of, but who else is left? Tony Khan's use of he/him pronouns on the AEW Unrestricted Podcast tells us it can't be a Tessa Blanchard or Trish Stratus. There's very little else left on the table.

Kurt Angle?

Tugboat?!

Sod it. Brock is sexier.
