10 Huge Names Who Won't Be Competing At WrestleMania 32

4. Batista

While Batista's last run in WWE didn't go quite as the company or "The Animal" had planned, a lot has changed since early 2014. Since he was last on Raw, Batista has become a legitimate supporting movie star thanks to his role in Guardians of the Galaxy. While still far from the level of The Rock, Batista has achieved a measure of film success that's made him a recognizable face among the greater public. Naturally, WWE would love to have Batista back for a big WrestleMania bout, despite the fact that the star has been critical of the company. He'd make an excellent opponent for Triple H, with "The Animal" having even stated in the past that he'd love to go out with one more WrestleMania match with his mentor. The problem lies in Batista's schedule. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled to start filming in mid-January, and that likely leaves Batista no time to participate in a match at the show of shows, let alone promote a bout on Raw. WWE has reached out to Batista about working the show, but logistics will stand in the way.
