10 HUGE WWE Clash Of Champions 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

5. The Otis Entry

It's Clash Of Champions, which theoretically would be the perfect time for Money In The Bank winner Otis to make his presence felt. Every champion is present, every titleholder could be tired or otherwise engaged. But WWE isn't really the company of great theory or practice, and it may well be that the perpetual Number One contender just takes the night off.

The company could have done something quite cute with his character here. A Heavy Machinery/Miz & Morrison tag team encounter would have been perfect for the pre-show. Not only does it save Asuka and Zelina Vega from potential condemnation, but it would be in service of the feud and Otis and Mandy Rose could appear on screen together as per the rules of dual brand pay-per-views.

Instead, there's nothing unless there's something. Would they really even dare have a comedy figure enter Roman Reigns' super-serious orbit at present? Almost certainly not, and with his "peach" on the red brand, might Otis not be smarter keeping an eye on Raw's ambulance match instead?

Cash-ins are all too often nothing before they're something, and that's sadly the case here. "Gold Rush" might be the tagline, but Otis dashing off with a belt doesn't feel quite right this time.
