10 HUGE WWE NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Predictions You Need To Know

7. WALTER (c) Vs. Tommaso Ciampa

WALTER Vs Tommaso Ciampa feels like a match from 2019 that NXT forgot to book.

The type of dream match that seemingly can't fail due to the calibre of the competitors. The type of dream clash between wrestlers nobody ever imagined would ever work for WWE. And crucially, the type of dream match that actually captures how dream matches used to make us all feel before the pandemic strangled the joy out of everything.

The build's been half-decent too. Ciampa's alliance with Timothy Thatcher pulled him into Imperium's crosshairs until a showdown with their leader felt inevitable, but WALTER tacitly appears the more intimidated of the two. His attacks have been with the support of his group - a 'ring general' protectdd by his troops.

Ciampa's total lack of cowardice will surely inform the bulk of - and finish to - the match as well. He'll brave the worst of the chops and fall only to WALTER having to dig deeper than he has done in months. TakeOver: Stand & Deliver is short on potential epics - this one has a chance to fill the void.

Winner - WALTER
