The placement of this match on the card will likely be dictated by the scale of shock the company has planned for it.

A match that has received almost the antithesis of an actual build on television, the Women's Royal Rumble will likely be judged on how successful the major moments play out and just how well received the winner is. It's for these reasons that Ronda Rousey has to return and dump the deadwood.

Her Four Horsewomen compatriot Shayna Baszler is understandably a natural favourite for the spot having dazzled in the run-up to the Survivor Series, but the 'Baddest Woman On The Planet' was a special breed of rookie during her one full year on the roster and hasn't appeared at all since losing her Raw Women's Championship and unbeaten streak to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35.

That mirrors how things went in her UFC career too, though this comeback won't end in another immediate defeat.

Winner: Ronda Rousey
