10 HUGE WWE SummerSlam 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

6. Edge Vs. Seth Rollins

From two of the cheesiest performers on the roster to two of SmackDown's stronger storytellers, Edge and Seth Rollins have over-delivered en route to 'The Biggest Party Of The Summer'.

Rollins was p*ssed off with the 'Rated-R Superstar' before they were even in a feud. This is rare for 2021 WWE - the idea that both men had motivations before running into each other either side of Money In The Bank gave this gravitas before the SummerSlam direction started proper. Edge got a title shot Seth coveted, neither got what they needed from that pay-per-view, and animosity escalated.

It's been nice to see old grudges renewed, and refreshing to have an older legendary figure not be worshipped to the point of absurdity by the younger star. With any luck, the match will exceed expectations too - both men were two of the more popular performers during the socially distanced WrestleMania card. The thousands packed into 'The Biggest Party Of The Summer' will hopefully agree.

Winner - Seth Rollins
