10 Hypothetical WWE Signings (And Whether They'd Have Succeeded Or Failed)

3. Ricochet

Unlike most people on this list, Ricochet, a.k.a. Lucha Underground’s Prince Puma and Chikara’s Helios, still has a (slim) chance of still getting signed by WWE. He’s only 26, but has been wrestling for 11 years.

Over that period, he has made a name for himself as one of the most exciting high-flyers in the world, capable of performing impressive maneuvers like his 630° senton and his Double Rotation Moonsault.

Success or Failure in WWE: Success

If WWE were to sign Ricochet, he’d be in the same role that Evan Bourne had before his unfortunate accident and subsequent injury. Ricochet would be the gravity-defying high-flyer who’d perform maneuvers so amazing and seemingly-impossible that the WWE would show slow-motion replays of his moves as often as possible.

Come to think of it, in many respects, he’d actually be in the same role as Neville’s in right now: as the exciting high-flyer that wakes the crowd up whenever he wrestles.

Because of the inherent similarities in their respective physiques, attires and wrestling styles, WWE could actually make a lot of money off of a rivalry between or a team consisting of Neville and Ricochet.

With Neville lacking a partner or opponent that truly fits his style outside of the Lucha Dragons, this hypothetical signee has the potential to bring in tons of money to WWE, and a renewed appreciation for the high-flying style that’s sometimes ignored on the main roster.
