Last year in the G1 Climax finals, Kenny Omega and Tetsuya Naito had one of the greatest matches anyone has ever seen. It was dramatic, athletic, exhilarating, the crowd were absolutely fervent; it was just everything you wanted in pro wrestling, and in this writer's humble opinion, is on par if not better than Okada and Omega's four classics.

Since then, the two have been kept apart, but Kenny, in his victory speech at Dominion, invoked Naito's "tranquilo" catchphrase, suggesting that the score has yet to be settled between these two. One would think they're setting up to a big match, possibly even at the Tokyo Dome, but they can have a match at any PPV. For our purposes, it's important that Omega and Naito are grouped together in the same G1 block.

The idea behind the G1 is that if someone pins or wrestles to a draw with a champion or the eventual G1 winner, they'll be able to challenge for their prize at a later date. Since we don't want to burn out on pinfalls with either competitor, it would be wise to have Omega and Naito wrestle to a 30 minute draw in the tournament to leave the score unsettled.
