10 Incredibly-Short Turnarounds Between UFC Fights

7. Mike Brown (21 Days)

Former WEC Featherweight Champion Mike Brown was largely unsuccessful in the UFC, earning just two wins in six fights with the organization. And two of those losses came just three weeks apart from one another.

The first of these two losses for Brown was a razor-thin split decision to Diego Nunes in the prelims of UFC 125 on New Year's Day 2011. Three weeks later, on 22 January of that year, 'Korean Zombie' Chan Sung Jung went down with an injury ahead of his UFC Fight Night bout with Rani Yahya, so Mike Brown courageously stepped in. Unfortunately, Brown would suffer yet another decision loss, only this time, it was unanimous.

Despite his lack of success in the UFC, Brown retired from competition with a rock-solid record of 26-9. He is also an award-winning primary trainer at American Top Team, which has helped produced elite talent such as Amanda Nunes, Dustin Poirier, Junior Dos Santos, and Jorge Masvidal, among so many others. Clearly, studying MMA under the tutelage of a man who is willing to take two fights three weeks apart from one another has proven beneficial.
