10 Indie Stars Ruined By WWE

6. Teddy Hart

While nepotism is alive and well in the world of professional wrestling, there are countless examples which prove that a famous last name is no guarantee of success in WWE, one of them being Bret Hart's nephew, Teddy.

Having earned a reputation as one of the industry's brightest young stars with his performances in Ring of Honor and TNA, Hart signed for Vince McMahon in 2005, initially being assigned to his finishing school in Ohio.

And that's pretty much where the story ends. Despite being around at a time when second- and third-generation wrestlers were all the rage, the Canadian was never given the opportunity to appear on the main roster, eventually being released late the following year.

Subsequent reports online blamed this on an attitude problem backstage, although that's hardly anything new in the world of professional wrestling. If that's enough to be fired, then half the WWE roster are in trouble.
