Unlike most others on this list, Cesaro is still a thriving member of the WWE roster. In fact, it was only last month that he constituted one-half of the Raw Tag Team Champions, a title he has already held an impressive four times.

But here's something else he's won four times: the title of Wrestling Observer Newsletter's "Most Underrated" wrestler, an award given every year to the man or woman whose talents have been woefully underutilised by their employers.

The fact is that, for all his tag team success, Cesaro - formerly Claudio Castagnoli on the independent circuit - is yet to be given the sort of singles push that his talent so obviously deserves, despite having been on the company payroll more than six years.

There's still enough time for this sad state of affairs to change, but we probably shouldn't hold our breath. The Swiss giant was publicly criticised by Vince McMahon a couple of years back for lacking an "it factor". And if the boss isn't feeling it...
