10 Infamous WWE Elimination Chamber Moments

1. The Extreme Chamber

Oh God.

WWE's relaunch of ECW was doomed from the moment they sent out a man dressed as a zombie on the very first episode on Syfy. After that, things just kept getting worse.

The peak of this tripe was 2006's December To Dismember, the brand's first and last pay-per-view. A night of dire wrestling (and one decent bout between The Hardyz and MNM) was capped off with one of the worst-reviewed Chamber matches of all time.

The "Extreme" Elimination Chamber featured the twist of weapons and by weapons, we mean that they were enough weapons for each competitor to have one each. How lovely.

It was clear that the fans were going to hate this match from the moment CM Punk - the guy everyone wanted to win - was eliminated first. The final two were the champion, Big Show, and Bobby Lashley, who would go onto dethrone the giant to one of the most lukewarm responses in history.

This match was barely extreme, it was poorly booked, and let's not even mention that Sabu was pulled from the chamber on the night and replaced with Hardcore Holly.

It takes a lot to kill a brand stone dead, but this match managed it. And then some.
