10 Interesting Facts About WWE's Neville

10. One Half Of NXT€™s First Tag Champs

It was on the January 16th, 2013 episode of NXT that Adrian Neville made his debut, defeating one-time Tensai manservant Sakamoto. Within a month, he€™d have won his first piece of gold in the WWE€™s developmental territory. When NXT launched a tournament to crown its first ever Tag Team Champions, Neville teamed with fellow Englishman Oliver Grey. Going through Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre, then Kassius Ohno and Leo Kruger, the duo found themselves in the finals of the tournament against The Wyatt Family€™s Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Airing on February 13th, 2013, Neville and Grey would defeat Harper and Rowan to become the first ever NXT Tag Team Champions. Grey would soon be out with an injury, though. With Bo Dallas filling in as Neville€™s partner, the belts would be lost to The Wyatts. Neville would later team with Corey Graves to regain the titles before losing them to The Ascension as Adrian Neville€™s singles career started to take shape.
