10 Last-Minute WWE WrestleMania 34 Rumours You Need To Know
3. Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Football players at WrestleMania is nothing new - last year, for example, Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots had a significant hand in the pre-show battle royal - but, more often than not, they are of the American variety.
According to some reports, that trend could be bucked tomorrow night, with LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, fresh from netting a brace on his internet-breaking MLS debut, apparently in New Orleans this weekend in preparation for a shock appearance on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
This sounds completely ridiculous on one level, and yet entirely believable on another. Bar Wayne Rooney, the Swede is one of few European sportsmen with the charisma to hang with a WWE wrestler on the microphone - and at 6'5", he's also large enough that he could believably beat up on them as well.
One potential snag, though: Galaxy are also in action on Sunday evening, their game against Sporting Kansas City kicking off around 6pm local time. Zlatan is capable of many things, but travelling the breadth of the United States in two hours seems a like a bit of a stretch - even for him.
