10 Leading Contenders To Win 2022 WWE Money In The Bank Ladder Matches
1. Kevin Owens
What a difference a year makes, eh?
Don't get your writer wrong, Kevin Owens still found himself in a decent enough spot heading into last year's first fully-attended Premium Live Event in an age. After all, he'd just seen off Sami Zayn once again in a feud that saw the pair battle right the way through WrestleMania - with a Logan Paul thrown in for good measure.
Yet, it wasn't too long after that failed effort to walk out of Dickies Arena with a world title shot contract that word began to spread of KO being on the verge of calling it a day and wandering out of the WWE door come the end of his deal in January.
Fast forward twelve-months or so and the former Universal Champion is riding the wave of his damn career, following up arguably the biggest moment of his wrestling life opposite Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 38 with an impressively handled feud with Elias' younger brother.
If his ability to build an entire programme with The Texas Rattlesnake on his lonesome, usher the broken legend to a half-decent bout on The Grandest Stage, and now almost single-handedly get Ezekiel over as a popular babyface hasn't earned him a place at the top of the ladder, nothing will.
It hasn't officially been the Kevin Owens Show in far too long. So, the fact that he's magnificently forced it to be since re-signing in December should more than earn him a shiny new briefcase and another spell holding the big one.
