4. Bayley

Of the many names to have spent a sizeable stint away from our screens in recent memory, few absences have been felt in quite the same way as the Rode Model-shaped hole has on Friday Night SmackDown for nearly a year.

WWE have a clear fetish for last-minute inclusions, and in unleashing Bayley onto a stadium of 50,000 strong the company could have a reaction to rival that of The Man coming back around inside of Allegiant Stadium. A pop no doubt bolstered by the never-ending speculation over the date of her inevitable comeback from an ACL tear.

And despite the longest reigning SmackDown Women's Champion likely returning to an entirely positive reaction, it's safe to assume WWE will find a way to rally against said organic noise and maintain Bayley's deliciously villainous ways.

But no matter, as already noted, heel MITB winners tend to smash it out of the park more often than not and just imagining the unfiltered joy the ThunderDome MVP could have while equipped with the opportunity to spoil a Baddest Woman on the Planet or EST's party is enough to make us forget about the depressing fact we haven't seen her wrestle since June 2021.

If she's good to go, "Ding Dong, Hello!"
