6. The Colons

If it was ever in doubt that WWE has zero interest in the prospects of this duo, remember that Primo and Epico are currently on their third gimmick in three years. And while matadors and timeshare salesmen might be two of the most lamentable gimmicks that modern WWE has produced, their current incarnation as simply 'The Colons' is so bland that it might be even worse.

This new direction contains absolutely no personality, and they've become the least visible tag team on SmackDown over the last month. Despite being handed a notable victory over American Alpha upon arriving to the blue brand, they've quickly been to relegated to their familiar jobber status.

Primo and Epico haven't just been a comedy act over the last few years; they've been been several comedy acts, and very poor ones at that. The legacy of Los Matadores and The Shining Stars is highly damaging to the credentials of these two very capable wrestlers, which is why they still can't be taken seriously after ditching the more ridiculous aspects that their personas had become saddled with.

Simply put, it's difficult to imagine the circumstances under which The Colons would become major players again.
