2009 was the best year of Jeff Hardy's career in World Wrestling Entertainment, and the now-deleted Charismatic Enigma headlined a grand total of four pay-per-views over the year. Two of these came against Edge, as the two battled over the WWE Championship at Judgment Day and Extreme Rules.

Much like the two men in the entry previous, Edge and Jeff first came to prominence in WWE in the tag team division, but by the time their partnerships were in the rear-view mirror they were integral parts of the main event scene in the company. Hardy had been an immensely popular babyface for some time, and 2009 was the year that WWE finally pulled the trigger on him.

Hardy weighed just 215 pounds soaking wet in WWE, with Edge weighing in at 241lbs. Their combined total of 456lbs puts them at fifth in this list, but second on the list of 'Jeff Hardy's Lightest WWE PPV Main Events'.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
