7. He Used To Train While Watching A Flair/Steamboat Match On A VCR

Regal was a huge fan of Ricky Steamboat and managed to get his hands on a VHS copy of the Steamboat/Flair match from Chicago in 1989. To ensure his fitness he would bring his television and video out to the bottom of the stairs and do a complete hour of Hindu squats or step-ups. Or sometimes a combination of the two. For the majority of the rest of the year he would do these exercises every day that he could in order to keep his stamina high. And in a strange twist of fate, after he signed for WCW he very quickly entered into a feud with Steamboat, resulting in Regal winning the TV Title at Fall Brawl 1993.
