Split off from the babyface bluster in the opening segment, Becky Lynch got a spotlight to herself for a promo rich in celebration at an August-to-April stretch that may go down as one of the best in company history.

She brought the big guns as if Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey’s Twitters were wired through the hard camera, but this was far more than just her gimmick’s greatest hits - it was Lacey Evans’ overdue first one.

Catching the new SmackDown Live AND Monday Night Raw Women’s Champion with her impressive right hand to the chops, Evans dropped jaws in Barclays before she very nearly had the two halves of her face separated by ‘Becky 2 Belts’.

This segment hid in plain sight as the night’s sleeper success story. Few seemed to give a sh*t when Lacey made her chintzy arrival, but all eyes were on her as she left. Not all of Becky’s battles can be with Charlotte Flair - it’s time for ‘The Man’ to start making women.
