Closing out the trifecta of Brock’s 504-day world title reign is this 127-day gap that ran from No Mercy 2017 until Royal Rumble 2018, a four-month span.

Brock Lesnar toppled Braun Strowman in September, then beat both Braun and Kane at the Rumble PPV. During that period, Lesnar had one other televised match, a champion-versus-champion bout at Survivor Series against WWE Champion AJ Styles, which Brock naturally won.

It’s again worth noting that WWE chose to keep one of its two major title around the waist of a part-timer who didn’t wrestle on TV and barely defended the strap on PPV for 16 months, only for their chosen successor to fall short when he got the title.

Kinda makes you wonder what they’re doing with Roman Reigns right now, doesn’t it?
