10 Main Roster WWE Talents That Should Be Clamouring For NXT Switch

6. Xavier Woods

Since being called up to the main roster, Xavier Woods has yet to be given a fair shake. He was introduced with absolutely no fanfare as R-Truth€™s new little buddy, was made to adopt a long dead gimmick from a guy who was about a couple months away from being let go, and when it finally seemed like they were going to give him something to do, if the reports online are to be believed, that was also yanked out from under him before he even had a chance to really get started. Xavier Woods can€™t catch a break, which is a shame because he€™s so young, intelligent and incredibly talented on the microphone and in the ring. On NXT, Xavier Woods would have the chance to do something. Whether it be the Malcolm X inspired character he was ready to do paired with Kofi and Big E, or it€™s the geeky 90€™s enthusiast character he had when he first appeared on NXT. Imagine him portraying a character that truly believed that he existed in a 90s sitcom? It would be like Abed on Community, only in a wrestling ring. He could do backstage segments with other superstars where he would instigate classic TV tropes and every week before his segment or match, we€™d get an animated €œLast Time on NXT with Xavier Woods€ recap. It would be totally fun, and so very NXT. Let the young man be great!
