10 Major Shocks We Could See At Survivor Series 2014
10. John Cena Joins The Authority
This would undeniably be one of if not the biggest shocker in recent wrestling history, but it ranks low on the list due to the low likability of it actually happening. There was no better time for Cena to join The Authority than one year ago when he returned from injury. Up to that point, Cena wasn't aligned with anyone. He took his hiatus around the time the whole Authority angle got started, and being the company man he is, he would have fit right in among the Authority members. It wasn't until just recently that Cena began rivaling the faction when Authority's Seth Rollins cost him the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Of course, it would make next to no sense for Cena to turn on a team he helped create, but as we've seen in WWE this year, anything is possible. The Authority made their best pitch to Cena not too long ago about why the fans are irrelevant and why he should join them. Being the stand-up guy he is, Cena declined immediately, but maybe he's having second thoughts. It would end the year on one heck of a high note, but as noted, the chances of it coming to fruition are extremely slim.
