10 Major Shocks We Could See At Survivor Series 2014
9. Cesaro Turns Face
One of the biggest travesties of this year has been the undeserving downfall of Cesaro. He started off 2014 on an massive roll a part of The Real Americans, building more and more momentum by the week. His popularity peaked at WrestleMania 30 when he won the inaugural Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but it's been all downhill for him since. His partnership with Paul Heyman proved to be the death of his character, embarking on a lengthy losing streak over the summer. Though he's been winning more matches since then, he's still come up short in every title match he's competed in. The only way to salvage Cesaro at this point is to turn him face. Fans were digging him and his impressive Giant Swing earlier this year, so keeping him heel after that was a disastrous move. He has floundered since 'Mania and even now fans are anxiously awaiting the moment he embraces them. Like Dolph Ziggler, it's difficult to boo Cesaro because he's such an incredible athlete. As of this writing, Cesaro hasn't been added to the Survivor Series card in any capacity (despite appearing in the commercial), but it's always possible he's added to Team Authority at the last minute and ultimately turns on him, completing his face turn in the process.
