10 Misfit WWE Tag Teams That You'll Never Forget

When it comes to bizarre tag team pairings, few can boast the sheer contrast of Booker T and Goldust.

After the original brand split had been initiated in 2002, Goldust began pursuing the five-time WCW Champion with the hopes of forming a partnership. Soon enough, Booker's ejection from the New World Order saw him in need of an ally in his fight against the nWo. As such, the stars aligned and the two men finally joined forces.

While the nWo imploded shortly after, Booker and Goldust continued to team on a regular basis. They received numerous shots at the Tag Team Championships thereafter, most notably at SummerSlam and No Mercy 2002.

The contrasting characters eventually overcame the odds and won the Tag Team gold in a four-way elimination match at Armageddon '02; however, the pair would lose the gold just weeks later. The loss saw the team go their separate ways, yet the duo's popularity led Booker to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XIX.

Despite only holding the Tag Team Titles for 22 days, the comedy and entertainment they provided throughout their run made them hugely memorable and one of the best loved misfit tag teams in modern WWE history.
