5. Keep It In The Family

To the relief of all but one bonkers billionaire, a planned incest storyline between mid-2000s British wrestling standouts Paul Burchill and storyline sister Katie Lea was sharply dropped ahead of gathering any pace. Surviving lengthy tenures in dilapidated developmentals (and an infamously corny spell for Paul as a pirate in 2006), the two were nearly victims of a longstanding Vince McMahon fantasy booking suggestion when they redebuted in Feburary 2008.

Forced to say yes to an angle Shane and Stephanie McMahon had flatly refused, the Burchills were to be psychosexual siblings. Handled with all the subtlety one expects from WWE theatre, the implication was crystal clear the second the pair made their way to the ring, but a pre-match promo laid it on heavier.

"Every brother loves to make his little sister happy", snarled Paul ahead the two were more than a little hands-on with one another. A move to the PG just weeks later saw the suggestiveness thankfully binned before the plot grossly thickened.
