10 More Times Wrestlers Broke Kayfabe
2. Reassurance From The Viper
Go back and watch last year's Survivor Series Elimination Match and the moment Roman Reigns Spears a flying Shane McMahon. You'll see the face of Simba, if you will, crash into The Big Dog's shoulder. With both men laid out on the mat, instead of seeing the 10 count through the referee eliminates a clearly knocked out Shane who is quite literally dragged to the back by officials for treatment.
Immediately after O'Mac was taken to the back, a stealthy Randy Orton was pictured talking to Max McMahon, presumably giving the lad an update on his dad.
Why did Orton do this? He's a father himself, and that parental instinct took over.
This was a classy thing for Orton to do but it certainly can be classed as kayfabe breaking. Surely Orton should have been focused solely on the match and ensuring SmackDown's team got the win instead of talking to children at ringside... ? Real life trumps the goings on in the ring sometimes however, and rightfully so.
