Shelton arrived in WWE with a legitimate sporting background in his favour. The three-time Intercontinental Champion's transition into the professional ring was seamless. Time in the Minnesota Stretching Crew with real life good friend Brock Lesnar wielded four OVW Southern Tag Team Championship reigns and showcased what an animal Shelton was.
