10 Most Bizarre Endings In WWE Raw History

A story involving death was always going to be controversial in the world of pro wrestling, and Vince's own 'fake murder' angle wasn't exactly helped by its timing. It was nixed due to the Chris Benoit tragedy, but still gave us the most baffling conclusion in the history of Monday Night Raw.

Seeing the segment again is almost akin to watching absurdist comedy. Vince heads to the back at the end of 'Vince McMahon Appreciation Night', passing the entire roster on his way to the parking lot. Paul London is smiling, for some reason (apparently he had no idea what was going on, and wasn't really taking it seriously) and it's all just a little bit odd.

Then, of course, he gets into the limo, we cut to a lovely wide shot, and it f***ing explodes. Such dramatics would test the immersion of CSI fans, let alone WWE's audience.
