10 Most Creative Ways Wrestlers Cheated To Win

7. Lifting The Hood And Seeing The Light - Triple H, Monday Night Raw, 7 October 2002

An inch of light in the miles-long darkness that made up Triple H's world title dominance on Monday Night Raw in the mid-2000s, 'The Game's victory over D'Lo Brown in a blindfold match was his final act on the show before kicking off an angle that he'd be stuck in infamy with for the rest of his career.

Only hours before the words 'Katie Vick' were first uttered on WWE television, 'The Game' would stumble through literal darkness instead of the hideous undertones of one of the company's grimmest ever storylines.

A gimmick generated by Eric Bischoff's 'Raw Roulette' wheel, the 'blindfold' hoods hadn't been used since Jake Roberts and Rick Martel assembled a bizarrely entertaining clash at WrestleMania VII, and wasn't going Hunter's way until his number two Ric Flair ran interference long enough for Triple H to lift his hood and hit a lightning quick Pedigree.

It was enjoyable light entertainment on a night that - in hindsight - could have done with much more like it.
