10 Most Dangerous Wrestling Finishers Ever

3. Vertebreaker/Cop Killa

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z45NjxHVfnY Moves where you land on your head are dangerous, however, most of the time the person taking it can protect themselves at least a little bit with their hands. That is not the case with the vertebreaker/cop killa, which is sort of like a modified slam/piledriver, with the given lifting their opponent upside down on the back, hooking their arms and dropping to their ass so that the person taking it lands on their head. Shane Helms/The Hurricane used the move in WCW, with mixed results. Some wrestlers took it dangerously on their head and necks while others managed to take a high-angle back bump, instead. The latter was obviously the preferred option. He used the move a couple of times on WWE TV before Vince McMahon banned it (this was in 2003 when Edge, Angle and Rhyno were out with neck injuries). Ring of Honor and TNA regular Homicide adopted the move and called it the cop/gringo killa. AJ Styles was seemingly on a mission to take the sickest bump possible off it when he was given the move on several occasions in 2006. The way he landed on his head, neck and shoulders was just hard to watch. Upping the ante, Homicide and Low Ki would do a tag move where Homicide would give the cop killa at the same time Low K gave a diving double foot stomp to the opponent, dropping their opponent with extra, frightening impact.
