10 Most Dominant WWE Women's Champions
8. Kairi Sane - 251 Days
Of all the dominant champions on this list, few have been dominated quite as much as Kairi Sane. The only individual included who has spent more time as a tag team champion than a singles champion, Sane's WWE career has been a most jumbled of mixed bags. For every Mae Young Classic win and captivating battle with Shayna Baszler there has been a Nia Jax-related injury or a mid-match concussion. Sane has also been miscast as a heel for much of her recent time on WWE TV.
Kairi Sane's first taste of championship gold in WWE came in August 2018, when she defeated the dominant Baszler at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV. This came hot off the heels of an appearance in the first-ever women's Royal Rumble, although a five-minute appearance coming to an end at the hands of Dana Brooke may have been a harbinger of things to come.
Sane's only NXT Women's Championship reign lasted just 71 days, but she has had more tenured success in the main roster tag team division. Now, that is a fairly liberal use of the term 'division' but you can only beat what is in front of you, which is exactly what The Kabuki Warriors did over 180 days between Hell in a Cell 2019 and WrestleMania 36.
All being said, WWE has had one of the best pro wrestlers on the planet on its main roster for two years, and she has received a total of zero singles championship matches. Preposterous.
