7. Vince McMahon’s Golden Egg
Hey, remember when The Rock returned to WWE and promoted his new movie 'Red Notice' heading into Survivor Series 2021? No? Well, that's likely because it never happened. Instead, Dwayne Johnson was replaced by a golden egg (one of several featured in the flick).
According to swaggering braggart Vince McMahon, his good, good close personal friend Rocky had gifted him one of the "priceless" eggs. The boss was horrified when the thing went missing, and launched an arena-wide hunt to find out who was responsible. This 'whodunit' story fell flat.
Fans didn't give a sh*t, obviously.
24 hours later on Raw, Austin Theory admitted that he'd been the thief. Vince then rewarded him for "showing intestinal fortitude", and agreed to take young Austin under his wing as a protege. The only good thing to come out of this tripe was Roman Reigns' taunting Theory by saying his "daddy ain't here anymore" when McMahon retired.
