10 Most Frustrating Decisions WWE Have Made This Year (So Far)
9. Rushed NXT Call Ups
Oh right, IYO has actually wrestled since 'Mania- a tag team bout against NXT call-ups Giulia and Roxanne Perez. As the above photo implies, the encounter didn't end well for IYO as G N' R ran through her like a night train.
You'd have thought this would have led to a lengthy tag team run for the newcomers, but it was not to be. Giulia was sent to Smackdown, Roxanne went to RAW, and everybody apparently agreed to pretend the whole tag team thing never happened.
As time passes, it's more and more obvious that WWE didn't have a plan for the uber-talented duo when they made the decision to bring them to the main roster. They may be doing well individually - Giulia is now the United States' Women's Champion and Roxanne has embedded nicely into Judgement Day - but that just makes it all the clearer that WWE had no idea what they were doing when they brought the pair in as a tag team.
It's a trend that has unfortunately continued as the year's worn on. Fraxiom have gone from being presented as the world's greatest tag team on NXT to getting mired in the midcard morass that is Smackdown's tag divison. Meanwhile, Stephanie Vaquer's shocking call-up may have been great for her, but it left NXT's women's division far worse for wear as WWE hadn't built up a suitable replacement for her before she left.
