3. Being The Miz's Rookie

Daniel Bryan started training to become a wrestler after graduating in 1999 and wrestled his first match in 2000. From there, he would go on to become one of the most respected names on the independent circuit as Bryan Danielson, competing all over the world and taking Ring of Honor by storm as the American Dragon. That meant nothing to WWE. As an NXT "Rookie", Bryan was paired up with The Miz, a man who debuted through Tough Enough and wasn't (and with the greatest of respect still isn't) in the same league as Bryan. Their feud may have been entertaining enough, but you still can't help but wonder how much better and differently Bryan would have been treated if NXT was then like it is now.
