8. AJ Lee

Having held the Divas Championship for 295 days, AJ Lee is the record-holder for the longest title reign in the Divas division. Her run saw her excel in the role at the top of her division, and it appeared at one time as though her acquaintance with Tamina Snuka would ultimately end in the disintegration of their relationship and Tamina being the one to eventually capture the title. It was not to be, and as previously explained, Paige's debut was the moment that AJ's brilliant run came to an end. Though this was of course a massive shock to WWE fans, in hindsight AJ's loss to Paige seems to have been something of a masterstroke. AJ's character is egotistical and vindictive, but one thing that endears her to audiences, even as a heel, is the undoubted pride she has in being Divas Champion. Having lost the title in unceremonious fashion, a character that had become synonymous with the title now has further purpose. This purpose is yet to be fulfilled, as AJ has been off our television screens since that loss to Paige the night after Wrestlemania XXX. The good news is, that with AJ's return reportedly imminent, WWE has the opportunity to materialise one of the most anticipated Divas feuds in recent memory, as AJ seeks to gain retribution on Paige for that demoralising loss. AJ has the pedigree and is within rights to demand a title rematch, and so fans can expect her to target Paige immediately upon her return. Could Summerslam be the stage for this eventual rematch?
