Date: May 22nd While some may have recognized him during his time as Terra Ryzing in WCW, most wrestling fans had no idea who they were looking at when Hunter Hearst Helmsley made his debut on Raw. He came in with a "rich, Blue Blooded snob" gimmick, which has always proved to be a good heat magnet in wrestling, and he looked the part. He was 6'4" tall and weighed in the vicinity of 250 pounds, with hair that looked like it took a long time to take care of every morning, and his "turned up nose" face was picture-perfect. It would be a pretty big lie if anyone told you that they saw a future first ballot WWE Hall Of Famer when they saw the debut of Hunter Hearst Helmsley, but there was plenty to like about him. In the ring, he was very solid. Even then, you could almost see that he was a student of the game, and had studied tapes for years in trying to work on his own craft. As a gimmick, he was working his tail off in playing the role, and he began getting more and more heat because of it. While it's true that he wouldn't start to see true success until he went from this gimmick to his morph into being Triple H with Degeneration X, it was still an awfully solid debut to build a foundation on.
