3. Doesn't Remember Most Of Infamous Hell In A Cell Bout

Story: Only the third Hell In A Cell match to ever take place, the bout between Mankind and The Undertaker at the 1998 King Of The Ring Pay-Per-View is still the one that's most talked about amongst wrestling fans. A lot of this has to do with the big bumps Mick Foley took during the course of the match, one of which had him thrown from the top of the cell through the announce table. The second of these hellish-looking falls had Mick crashing through the roof of the structure, landing awkwardly in the middle of the ring and experiencing the lovely irony of a chair following him through the mesh, crashing into his face as he landed. Visibly dazed, the story says that Foley can't remember much of the match after the first fall, never mind the second one. Why People Believe It: It's entirely possible that Foley was concussed, certainly after the back of his head bounced off the mat during the second of his big stunt bumps. Watching over the bout makes it clear that the man wasn't all there, just look at the way he smiles and looks at the camera in the corner with glassy eyes after suffering the second bump. Should We Believe It: Yes, there's a lot of evidence to support the idea of Mick Foley not remembering parts of his Hell In A Cell match with The Undertaker. Speaking during interviews about that time, Foley's memory is hazy, and he has difficulty picturing in his mind some aspects of the bout.
