10 Most Overpaid Wrestlers Of 2014
Who is the most overpaid in wrestling for under-performing?
As youngsters growing up, it's likely all wrestling fans look at the men and women on television and surmise that they're making a lot of money. It's only natural to think that way, people on TV make big bucks, right? Reality can sometimes sadly be a little bit different. It's fair to imagine that even low-card performers on the WWE payroll still have a higher average wage than most regular jobs, but not quite all of them live in the splendour we may enjoy conceptualising in our minds. Even with that better-than-the-average-Joe income, a lot of professional wrestlers still have to pay their own travel, accommodation and expenses - eating out at those restaurants every night may seem wonderful, but that's before you tote up the price every year! Of course, to say there are many WWE or TNA stars struggling to pay the bills (provided they handle their money correctly) would be foolish. As the pay scale increases, it does so dramatically, and before you know it, you're looking at people earning an absolute fortune from the wrestling industry. That in mind, there's only a finite number of spots where this earning potential exists, which must make it all the more frustrating for those not reeling in the megabucks to see others, with the same level of talent and largely the same amount of bookings, or less, who are. Wrestling is just like any other entertainment industry, and there are bound to be folks who can certainly be deemed as overpaid for what they do. It's all up to individual opinion, obviously, but who were some of the most overpaid wrestlers in 2014?
