10 Most Overpaid Wrestlers Of 2014

10. Samoa Joe - $400,000 (approx)

There was a time when Samoa Joe was one of the hottest acts in pro wrestling, but those days seem to be long gone. In a way, that's a shame, because every now and then the man shows a little glimmer of what we were so used to under a decade ago. TNA are an interesting company, for many reasons. The promotion are privately held, which means they don't have to publicly release accounts, or any financial information - Pay-Per-View numbers for the group have long been questioned, but there's little solid information to ascertain what is truthful and what's not. The above makes it sketchy when calling into question the annual salary of TNA stars, but rumours suggest Samoa Joe is on a hefty chunk of change, perhaps as much as $400,000 per year. If true, that's a ridiculous amount for what TNA get back from the man. There's absolutely nothing to suggest that the promotion are gaining anything from the deal, which makes it a curious one.
