10 Most Overpaid Wrestlers Of 2014

1. Rey Mysterio - $1,000,000

Yes, yes there is. A high-flying, high-risk performance style has caught up with Rey Mysterio, once one of the most exciting talents WWE fans have ever had the pleasure of seeing wrestle. A classic example of somebody who overachieved in an industry so obsessed with height and size, Mysterio somehow managed to keep up his Lucha nuances in WWE, and become a truly unique member of the roster. In 2014, Rey's only notable appearances were being on the receiving end of a torrent of booing from the WWE fans at the Royal Rumble, and being eliminated from the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania XXX by Cesaro. The capacity crowd at the Rumble quite clearly wanted to see Daniel Bryan as the 30th entrant, and were less than pleased to see Rey. Since then, we haven't seen much of the masked man, but his bank balance has witnessed plenty of action. Earning close to $1 million from WWE, Mysterio would apparently rather be in Mexico, where he sees great earning potential. In 2014, Rey Mysterio did next to nothing, injuries or not. Which other wrestlers do you think are over-paid in modern pro wrestling? Let us know in the comments section down below!
