10 Most Overpaid Wrestlers Of 2014

7. Mark Henry - $900,000

Signing a massive, ten-year contract with WWE in 1996, Mark Henry instantly became one of the best paid people working in wrestling. Many felt the bumper contract would not be renewed upon expiration, but it wasn't lowered by a huge amount. Currently, 'The World's Strongest Man' is paid an annual sum of close to $900,000, with the added incentive of first class travel plonked on top, like the cherry on top of the proverbial cake. For what Henry gives back to WWE in merchandise sales, ratings and Pay-Per-View revenue, that's far too much. The WWE Network may have changed the rules somewhat on PPV earnings, but how a salary like this can be justified is incredible. In the Summer of 2013, Henry shockingly turned on John Cena, slamming him and revealing talk of retirement to be a ruse. Fans blew up over the incident, and it seemed like the hottest period of Henry's career was set to follow. That didn't happen, and the man has been stuck in mid-card limbo ever since, earning a fortune.
