10 Most Overpaid Wrestlers Of 2014

8. Bobby Lashley - $500,000 (approx)

You may be noticing a trend with this list, but if it seems like TNA are getting it rough, there are a few surprises yet to come. Impact Wrestling isn't out of the woods, however, and it's decisions like the one to pay Bobby Lashley a large amount of money to draw in very few new viewers that baffle and annoy. Instead of trying something different, TNA have consistently tried to ride the coat-tails of WWE. We've witnessed it time and time again, Dixie Carter appears delighted that former WWE performers would even consider joining her smaller promotion, and that comes across to the audience, who in turn see TNA as the minor leagues. Bobby Lashley's annual earnings are unclear, but this is a guy who said he was finished with wrestling. To entice him back, it must have been a tasty offer, and it's rumoured to be in the region of $500,000 annually. Whatever it was, it's far too much - the TNA Heavyweight Champion was not a draw in 2014, and won't be one in 2015.
