10 Most Pathetic Wrestling Insults Of All Time

4. "GFY"

Chris Jericho
AEW

Chris Jericho is the master of genuinely great stuff and intentionally naff material alike.

He knows he can't just storm in and take the heat off his babyface opponents. That wouldn't be a capital idea; he's savvy enough to grasp that he has to make himself look stupid on occasion.

The "Wizard" patter is great - the idea that he's actually performing magic and expects you to believe that is priceless arrogance - and his recent bit at Battle of the Belts was spectacular. Flanked by 2point0 as he discussed their relationship with Daniel Garcia, Jericho in a bid to no-sell his age described himself as the older brother, where Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang were his two dads. This was immaculate; he couldn't have said more wrong things in the face of the obvious to protect his skyscraper of an ego.

Sometimes, however, Jericho gets these two things messed up. It's all in the delivery, the conviction. You can tell when he's being rubbish on purpose and when he thinks he has a real zinger up his sleeve, and with the atrocious "GFY!" deal of late 2021, he thought he was the dog's b*llocks.

He really wasn't, and because it's Jericho - the most under-valued wrestler ever when he has the temerity not to be in world-class form - he was considered finished before casually enjoying one of the best years of his career.
