10 Most Pointless WWE Returns
4. Kevin Nash
Being mates with Triple H, Kevin Nash can probably return to a WWE ring at just about any time he sees fit.
His first appearance in seven years came, originally, at the 2011 Royal Rumble, where he emerged from the Titantron to a titanic pop in a nice, if very brief, cameo appearance that ended when Wade Barrett tossed him over the top rope.
No-one really took issue with that, but Nash wasn't done there. He made a second return seven months later at SummerSlam, interrupting CM Punk's victory celebrations with a brutal attack, leaving him unable to answer the three count when Alberto Del Rio came to the ring to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase.
The former nWo star had every reason to take issue with Punk, to be fair, having watched the Straight Edge Superstar deride men of his ilk in a series of frank promos over the summer. But the storyline which saw Nash text himself was completely botched - almost as though they made the climax up on the spot, just to give Big Sexy's return a bit of artificial meaning.
