10 Most Underrated ECW Revival Championship Matches

7. Christian vs. Ezekiel Jackson (Royal Rumble 2010)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XG_QQUBM88 Aside from a brief run as Intercontinental champion in 2011, Jackson's six year stint with WWE was rather forgettable; however, his best work came during his time on the ECW brand. As one-third of The Ruthless Roundtable along with William Regal and Vladimir Kozlov, he was protected in most of his matches, but also had the opportunity to work with some of the best, including Christian. While they crossed paths on occasion in late 2009, it wasn't until Jackson was pushed as Regal's prime pupil when he officially moved into a feud with Christian. After becoming the No. 1 contender to the gold with a win in an ECW Homecoming Battle Royal, he was set to contend for the gold at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. It remained to be seen how well Jackson would fare against the seasoned veteran, but to the surprise of many, he held his own, resulting in an excellent opener. Christian's offense was smooth and fluid, and although Jackson was unsuccessful in winning the title, he looked strong in defeat. As history would have it, the final ECW champion's impressive showing on this show was among the few decent matches he had in his WWE career.
