10 Most Unsuccessful WWE Returns Of All-Time

3. Scott Hall

I could rant relentlessly about how badly the New World Order was mishandled upon their arrival in WWE in February 2002, but for the sake of this entry, we'll focus solely on Scott Hall.

When he returned alongside Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash, he wasn't the same Scott Hall he was six years earlier when he left for WCW. He still appeared to be in pretty decent shape, but he was far from being in the right mindset at the time, and that was apparent through his lousy in-ring work.

Look no further than his mediocre match with Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania X8.

And to think this was the same guy who revolutionised the Ladder match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania X. The Razor Ramon of old was long gone, so it came as no surprise when he was fired following the aforementioned "plane ride from hell" for unprofessional behaviour (to put it lightly) in the spring of 2002.

Thankfully, Hall has cleaned up his act in recent years thanks to Diamond Dallas Page and has made several appearances on WWE TV, including at WrestleMania 31.
