10 New Directions After AEW All Out 2022

1. Even More Backstage Drama?!

Reports are popping up all over the shop that CM Punk and The Young Bucks had a fiery encounter backstage following Sunday's post-All Out media scrum. There, a knackered Punk ripped into everyone from AEW's EVPs to Hangman Page and even Colt Cabana. It was a quite dazzling rant.

Meanwhile, Tony Khan just sat there with eyes wide open.

If the All Elite chief had hoped to move on from pre-pay-per-view backstage drama, then he's about to be disappointed. Punk doesn't seem interested in doing that. If anything, he's just lit some more touch paper and laughed maniacally as everyone scrambles angrily around him.

Who knows what impact this controversial media scrum business will have on AEW's product? It could blow over quickly, or it could be the latest chapter in a behind-the-scenes power struggle that's reflecting very badly on everybody involved.

Fetch your popcorn though, because it's just getting started.
