10 New Directions After WWE Clash At The Castle

1. Roman Reigns Taking Time Off

Farewell, sweet prince. Well, for a while at least.

Roman Reigns has one of the best deals available in WWE these days, but he's earned it and probs won't take the same sort of flak online that someone like Brock Lesnar does for effectively being part time. The reigning champ's contract surely won't call for many more dates through until Survivor Series.

That, ladies and gents, means Roman could swan off into the sunset for a month or two and put his feet up. Programs like Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross and The Usos vs. Sami Zayn/KO can carry the can in the meantime, so it's not like he'd be leaving some gaping hole on the roster.

Reigns would be missed though. He can still stop by to deliver the odd promo here or there, but there's nobody really on the horizon for him to wrestle at Extreme Rules, and the last thing WWE should think about doing is forcing someone into that spot for the sake of it.

Nah, some time off sounds about right.
